RTB TIR Wire & Rod is Yugoslavian manufacturer of Copper Rod. The rod is continuously cast and hot rolled through the Dip Forming Continuous Copper Rod process from pure LME A grade cathode to produce rod purity of greater than 99.95%. Rod is most commonly used for redrawing into wire for power and communication cables. The designed capacity of the Copper Wire Plant is 40.000 t/year Copper rod can be further processed into flat wire which is further manufactured again into rectangular strip for the transformer, generator and motor industry, and into high surface quality round wire for enameled magnet wire. The
designed capacity of the Profiled Wire Plant is 3500 t/year Within the Copper Wire Plant the production of sintermetallurgy products is developed based primarily on copper powder. Capacity of the sinter metallurgical products production plant depends on the type of product.
Copper rod is also redrawn into Copper Wire for many applications.
Bare Rectangular
Copper flat wire is manufactured through a rolling and/or drawing
operation for use primarily in the motor and transformer markets.
Bare strip is also further processed into insulated products for the
